Dashboard Templates

Dashboard Templates are a great resource to use as a starting place for a custom dashboard or as is to answer specific business questions you may have. Our team of experts have created a ton of valuable dashboard templates and we will continue to add to the repository often.

How to use Dashboard templates

While on the Dashboards tab you’ll see the 'Dashboard Templates' button on the upper-right side of the Dashboards page, next to the “Add New Dashboard” button:

You can also click “Add New Dashboard,” and you’ll be prompted to choose between templates or a new blank dashboard.

A pop-up will appear showing you all the templates that are currently available. These templates have been sorted into categories for easy finding based on your use case and goal.

  • Retail and Sales Performance - Seller and Vendor Central data sources. Analyze your own sales data captured through your Seller or Vendor central integrations.
  • Advertising - Shelf intelligence, Ad campaigns, and AMS Ads data sources. Analyze your own advertising data captured through Advertising account integrations and your tracked SOV keywords.
  • Competitive Analysis - Shelf Intelligence and Segment data sources. Analyze a target brand or your own progress within a market.
  • Shelf Intelligence - SOV data source. Analyze your brands' share of voice and performance against competitors.
  • Pricing Optimization - Segment data source. Analyze how you are priced compared to the market and any optimizations to your current strategy.
  • Product Trends - Segment data source. Multiple ways to slice and dice data you have housed in your segments to increase your analytics efficiency.

A preview of each template is available to ensure it's the right one for you. The previews contain demo data, which will be replaced with your data once you choose the template and your specific data sources.

Each template comes with a brief description of the goal of the dashboard, a list of business questions the dashboard will help you answer, and the data sources the dashboard template utilizes.

Once you decide on the template that best suits your needs, click the “Use Template” button.

Your new dashboard will be immediately created, and you can modify it based on the data source; for example, Segment Dashboards will require you to select the segments you want to analyze on each Dashboard. There is no need to clone the dashboard for use.

All widgets below will update once you select a segment based on the selected Segment data.

The same will happen on Retail and Sales Performance Dashboards, requiring you to select an integration for Seller/Vendor Central and Advertising integrations.

You can also modify your dashboard by adding filters, changing the dates for specific timeframes, and dragging and dropping widgets according to your preference. Don’t forget to hit the “Save” button after making changes.

You can also perform different actions within your Dashboard, such as

  • Clone
  • Set as Home Dashboard
  • Export to PDF
  • Manage tabs
  • Change currency
  • Edit Dashboard Info

Last but not least, remember that all dashboards will default to “Private,” so make sure you make the necessary changes by clicking the “Share” button if you want to share with team members or clients.
